This large international telecommunications operator was seeking a COO for its UK subsidiary which is the centre of excellence for its new Wimax wireless Internet business.

The company is a ‘top-ten’ international telco with operations in over 30 countries. Wimax is one of two new competing wireless internet technologies in which the company has a considerable interest.

The COO would join a new management team that was responsible for developing this new business opportunity.   The client was experiencing difficulty finding a candidate with the requisite skills and experience to fill this important position and turned to Technology Headhunters for assistance.
