Chief Executive - Power Transmission Systems - Middle East

This company is a large, well established, manufacturer of Power Transmission Systems and components serving the industrial and construction industries throughout the Middle East.

The group is currently experiencing rapid growth and is forecasting revenues in excess of $1 billion by 2010.

The company was creating a new position by splitting the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive.

The new Chief Executive was to oversee the expansion of the group’s activities with the three existing divisional directors reporting directly to him.Technology Headhunters conducted an international search to find a short list of candidate. This included a deep analysis of the world-wide Power Transmission industry and its leading players.

TH was able to identify several potential candidates and following an exhaustive round of interviews the company was able to choose and reach agreement with one of them. 

The successful candidate was a divisional executive within a leading international power transmission manufacturing group based in Europe.
